The content in this document was previously submitted embedded in the original version of FEL\-TSB\-032 Meridian Hydraulic Pump CV Drive Shaft Replacement 0217.pdf. This cover prevents damage to surrounding components in the event of a hydraulic pump shaft failure. The initial revision of the cover would develop a crack near the top and bottom flange bend. The cover stays in place when cracking occurs. The replacement cover has an edge to edge bend line with a corner weld to prevent cracking. Cracking covers do not affect the safety of the vehicle chassis.
