This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician that the eAssist Drive Motor Generator Battery Powerpack are no longer on restriction and does not require a call to General Motors Technical Assistance Center. Dealer can contact Battery Service Center in the United States or the Electronic Service Center in Canada to order the eAssist Drive Motor Generator Battery Section.
