Earlier built vehicles came equipped with a removable coin tray while currently built vehicles have the tray molded in as part of the center console assembly. For details, see photos on page 2. For this issue, do not order and replace under warranty a removable tray or complete center console assembly if the vehicle was built on or after the applied VIN and date stated above. This change is not applicable under the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty. These vehicles are built correctly with a molded\-in tray and without a removable tray. Use the vehicle tables in this bulletin to determine the current software version, if the AV Control Unit requires a software version update, and which procedure to use to update the AV Control Unit. The software updates in this bulletin are to address stability improvements and “bug” fixes. IMPORTANT: If the customer is experiencing a software related concern, refer to NTB21\-038 to verify if the customer concern is a hardware or software related issue.
