# Service bulletin BTS171001

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Tech line summary article \- If the power system won't start when pressing the ENGINE/START STOP button, yet the instrument panel and other electrical items are working, a blown B5 \(7.5 A\) fuse in the auxiliary under\-hood fuse/relay box may be the culprit. We've traced the cause of this blown fuse to a short in the high mount brake light.
