## NHTSA's summary

A new Audi Brand Diagnostic Content Version 2.7.3 is on the ODIS server and available to update all VAS testers. The version numbers transition from the current version 2.7.0 to 2.7.3. The reason for this is that version 2.7.1 had some issues with parts of the test and it was cancelled. In order to send a software update to the field with some important diagnosis test plans, versions 2.7.1 and 2.7.2 were combined, and given the new version number 2.7.3. The new software update will recognize the year 2017 on the MY2017 Q7 NF vehicles. Updates must be completed by February 2016 as there are some very important diagnostic functions on this version.
