NHTSA's summary
Service operations notice regarding 2017 R8 engine codes CSPA and CSPB. If you have a MY2017 R8 and ODIS prompts you to select an engine code, select engine code CXJA for the 5.2L. Even if the Elsa repair manual calls for an engine code CSPA or CSPB, use engine code CXJA instead. Both engine codes CSPA and CSPB had an issue communicating with the ECM which might cause misdiagnosis during repairs.
