Volkswagen Group of America (VWGOA) has been notified that Takata has filed a notice of defect to NHTSA on driver?s side airbags that use the SDI and PSDI-5 inflators, including Audi vehicles. VWGOA will cooperate fully in Takata?s filing of this notice. VWGOA is unaware of any incidents or injuries in any of its vehicles caused by Takata driver?s side airbags using the SDI and PSDI-5 inflators.
