Service bulletin 167-T1503-12

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

TT-15-003 This tech tip is for servicing a J series engine with severe gear train damage, bearing damage, or any repair that could spread debris into the lubrication system. The oil cooler must be replaced due to debris being collected in the oil cooler and redistributed back into the engine causing future contamination (see below pictures). In the event you are servicing an engine that has visible signs of debris, it is strongly recommended to replace the oil cooler since that debris can be redistributed back into the lubricating system causing future engine damage.
