# Service bulletin 167\-B1701\-09

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

SB\-17\-016 FUEL INJECTORS TEST PROCEDURE \-\- The purpose of this fuel injector test procedure is to determine if abnormal fuel injector wear is present by measuring the actual amount of fuel compared to the calculated amount of fuel used with the engine running. Do not perform this fuel injector test unless necessary. This may cause unnecessary replacement of good fuel injectors.
