Service bulletin 122-N3K3F-06

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Concerns: Airbag control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. If the passenger airbag is not switched off on the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that the PASSENGER AIRBAG ON light will sporadically only go out about 5 minutes after the ignition is switched on. This does not comply with the specifications in the Owner's Manual, according to which the PASSENGER AIRBAG ON light comes on for about 1 minute after the ignition has been switched on and then goes out if the passenger's airbag is not switched off.
