A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Please reference Cummins Technical Service Bulletin ?TSB170089?. For any engines built before July 1, 2017, an ECM Code change is required to prevent occurrence of engine fault code 3555 ?Engine Wait to Start Lamp \- Abnormal Update Rate? after updating \(ECM\) calibration.
