## NHTSA's summary

In response to notification from Ford Motor Company, Newmar Corporation has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in specific motor homes. Newmar Corp has built motorhomes on the affected chassis. Therefore, Newmar has decided certain 2016 motorhomes manufactured on Ford F\-53 and F\- 59 chassis are subject to the Ford Transmission Shift Cable Campaign FSA 15S25. Newmar NHTSA\# 15 v 713, TC \# 2015\-512 Certain motorhomes built on Ford F\-53 and F\-59 chassis may have been built with an incorrect shift cable bracket. This could allow the transmission to be shifted into reverse without the brakes being applied, which could increase the risk of unintended vehicle movement, potentially resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
