A9990 A parking brake lever with a one\-way damper may not return fully to the ?at rest? position unless the driver fully lowers the lever, depending on the adjustment of the parking brake cable, enabling the switch to be fully depressed. The following procedure provides instruction for the replacement of the one\-way damper of the parking brake lever with a two\-way damper to ensure full return to the ?at rest? position without driver input.
