Beginning with the 2017 model year, Hino changed the standard battery from a group 27 to a group 31. In the event that a group 27 battery must be replaced, it is recommended to use the group 31 as the service replacement for 2014MY and newer units. 2014MY\-2016MY Hino Conventional trucks
