## NHTSA's summary

This technical bulletin is a suggested firm ware update for all Horton Emergency vehicles ambulances using Cool\-Tech air conditioning system with a Data Panel fan controller delivered between 01/02/2017 and 07/07/2017. Early firm ware revision parameters for Cool\-Tech condenser fan over current warning messages were programmed too closely allowing the possibility of false error messages to be displayed during fan start up. Updating the firm ware of the Cool\-Tech Data Panel fan controller to the current 010C revision will greatly reduce the possibility of false error messages being sent. There are no safety or functionality concerns with early firm ware revisions.
