Service bulletin 167-B1701-08

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Subject vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp with DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P0A82 (Abnormality in function of HV battery cooling fan) or P0A84 (Abnormality in HV battery cooling fan drive signal low) stored in the Hybrid ECU. If either of these DTC's have set, replace the HV blower fan with the updated part and install the new baffle over the existing air intake cover of the HV battery housing to prevent water intrusion into the blower motor.
