# Service bulletin G\-157893

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Published by NHTSA: 2017\-08\-15

## NHTSA's summary

13003A \- Service Update \(revised instructions \). The radio volume increases to maximum level without input and the radio cannot be turned off. This condition may or may not occur on subsequent ignition cycles. Also, the heated and/or ventilated seat operation may turn on without input, and/or the outside buttons on the radio control assembly may not work. Dealers are to run a diagnostic procedure to verify the integrity of the indium tin oxide \(ITO\) sensing of the radio control assembly. If the diagnostic procedure determines a concern with the ITO sensing, dealers are to replace the radio control assembly.
