Service bulletin GCUS-9-3623

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Customer safety is at the center of everything we do! So it’s imperative that every dealer have a process in place that includes a check of the Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) screen in the Global Warranty Management (GWM) system, prior to “trading” a vehicle to another dealer, to determine whether there are any “open” required field actions that apply to the vehicle. If one or more “open” field actions are identified, the dealer must then review the appropriate bulletin and perform the required repair.

The document

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
