## NHTSA's summary

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an excessive wind rush noise or road noise while driving. Technician will apply duct tape to cover the back side of the Thermal Expansion Valve pass\-through. If covering the holes does not correct the condition, remove the Heater\-Vent\-Air Conditioning case and inspect the foam seal and reposition or replace as needed.
