This bulletin announces a design change to the headlamp assembly to improve sealing and prevent moisture intrusion. This condition may result from a slight misalignment of the attaching points during the headlamp assembly process. An improved sealing material is now being used for bonding the outer lens to the housing.

Under the right conditions, the shape of the lens for the actual head lamp light source can cause sunlight to be focused onto the extension portion of the lens resulting in deformation. A heatresistant shade has been added to protect the affected area. |
