Service bulletin 167-R1701-07
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Due to an error within the engine ECU software released in January, 2017, several situations could develop: too much soot may accumulate in the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter); the check engine light may illuminate; the engine power may decrease, and damage to the DPF may occur. To eliminate these situations, it is necessary to reprogram the engine ECU with an improved software version which contains the correct algorithm.
