Service bulletin CPGF-S-00000421-
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
This Product Support Bulletin was issued to alert the field that on certain generator sets there is an increase in nuisance fault code 36 (FC36) shutdowns, which many associate to overheat shutdowns. An overheat shutdown will usually first appear as FC36- Generator Set Stopped Without Fault Condition. This fault code represents a situation where the generator has stopped without command from the control. Fault codes should always be properly diagnosed, and fully investigated before assuming root cause.
