Service bulletin SP 371-051

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Certain VAH, VHD, and VN trucks built from 08/17/2015 to 10/18/2015 may have front chassis harnesses with improperly installed connector cavity seals. On the connector to the rear chassis extension, FCCE1 and FCCE2, the seals may be installed backwards and allow moisture to enter the connector. If left uncorrected, the moisture will cause corrosion and ultimately a failure of the harnesses.
