## NHTSA's summary

THE HEATER ELEMENT FOR HIGH\-VOLTAGE HEATING MAY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED IN PRODUCTION. WHEN HIGH HEATING PERFORMANCE IS REQUIRED, THIS DAMAGE CAN LEAD TO FAILURE OF THE HEATER ELEMENT. IF THE ELEMENT FAILS, THE DRIVER WILL BE ALERTED TO THE CONDITION BY ILLUMINATION OF THE RED CENTRAL WARNING LIGHT IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND MESSAGES IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAY.
