Service bulletin DLR MSG - MC - R
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| Service Bulletin | 2017-07-28. Service bulletin. Service bulletin - Honda is launching a Safety and Emissions Recall on all model year 2013 through 2015 CB500F/FA and CBR500R/RA motorcycles. Honda has determined that the fuel level sensor float arm can become disconnected, which results in an inaccurate fuel gauge display and a rattling noise within the fuel tank. An inaccurately displayed fuel level could cause the motorcycle to unexpectedly run out of fuel. In some instances the engine may stall or fail to start due to a blown FI fuse (15 A) caused by the float arm contacting the fuel pump terminals. |
