Service bulletin SSM72347

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

WHEN THEY THEN ATTEMPT TO ACTIVATE THE TCU USING SDD SERVICE FUNCTIONS THEY ARE PRESENTED WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF VEHICLE QUALIFIER QUESTIONS. CAUSE: THREE CONCERNS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED: 1. A LATE CHANGE TO THE CAR CONFIGURATION FILE (CCF) RULES WHICH HAS BEEN LOADED TO THE VEHICLES WHEN THEY WERE MANUFACTURED. THIS CAUSES SDD NOT READ THE CCF WHICH THE SOFTWARE USES TO IDENTIFY WHAT"
