# Service bulletin LTB00757NAS2

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10105526
- Published by NHTSA: 2017\-06\-07
- Manufacturer's number: LTB00757NAS2
- Manufacturer's date: 2015\-07\-31
- NHTSA component: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; ENGINE

## NHTSA's summary

"SITUATION: AFTER AN ECO STOP, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT MOVE OFF AND THE TRANSMISSION MAY APPEAR TO BE IN NEUTRAL EVEN THOUGH THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH HAS NOT BEEN MOVED. THE TRANSMISSION GEAR POSITION INDICATOR ON THE GEAR SELECTOR AND IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MESSAGE CENTER MAY BE FLASHING 'D' OR 'S'. IF THE ENGINE IS STOPPED AND RESTARTED AND THEN DRIVE \(D\) OR SPORT \(S\) IS SELECTED, VEHICLE OPERATION RETURNS TO NORMAL."

## The document

No address for NHTSA's copy can be built for this communication. Ask the dealer for it by the manufacturer's number.

The vehicle will not come out of park. The button on the shifter does not work.
- [SSM74374](/bulletins/10160434.md), 2019-05-28, Service bulletin: ENGINE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Air leak from the right hand camshaft cover assembly due to a split diaphragm within the pressure control valve. Any of the following DTCs \(indicating an air intake system leak\) could be stored in the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) ? P2187, P2189, P0505, P0507.
- [SSM74336](/bulletins/10158981.md), 2019-04-22, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\). Variations of DTC P0087 are stored in the PCM for the fuel rail pressure sensor.
- [LTB01156NAS1](/bulletins/10138749.md), 2018-05-29, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); ENGINE. The engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) may be illuminated on the Instrument Cluster \(IC\) with Diagnostic Trouble Code \(DTC\) P132B\-77 stored in the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\).
- [SGI18\-05](/bulletins/10138657.md), 2018-05-29, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. An issue has been identified on certain vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the 'Service Required' message will not appear on the Instrument Cluster \(IC\) if a vehicle has reached its service point and the engine is started normally by pressing the engine START/STOP button with the brake pedal pressed. Turning on the ignition only, by pressing the engine START/STOP button without the brake pedal pressed, will still allow the 'Service Required' warning message to be displayed. In addition, the latest Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) software has introduced a concern relating to the ability to reset the service message indicator. The latest IC software will rectify these concerns.
- [LTB\-00871\-NAS\-1](/bulletins/10133623.md), 2018-04-17, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Situation: After a Service Interval Reset, the Service Interval Indicator \(SII\) may appear on the Instrument Cluster \(IC\) for less than one second when no service is required. Cause: This may be caused by a discrepancy between the values in the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) and the IC for next service initialization.
