"SITUATION: AN 'ENGINE OIL LEVEL CRITICALLY LOW' MESSAGE MAY BE DISPLAYED IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) WHILE DRIVING. HOWEVER, WHEN VIEWING THE OIL LEVEL IN THE IC SERVICE MENU, THE OIL LEVEL SHOWS AS 'NORMAL'. NOTE: THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) MAY ALSO BE REFERRED TO AS POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM). CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY A SOFTWARE ISSUE WITHIN THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)."
