## NHTSA's summary

SOME VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE AN OCCASSIONAL AND UNEXPECTED ILLUMINATION OF THE CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT \(AMBER\) WITH THE IGNITION KEY OPERATION CYCLE OF OFF\-START\-ON. IT CAN BE CANCELLED BY THE OPERATION OF EITHER AUTO CRUISE SWITCH OR THE IGNITION KEY OPERATION CYCLE OF OFF\-START\-ON. NOTE: THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE CRUISE CONTROL IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS ISSUE. THIS PROBLEM MAY BE CAUSED BY A WEAK BATTERY \(LOW VOLTAGE\) AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY IS RECOMMENDED TO CORRECT IT. USE THE GR8\-1291 TO TEST THE BATTERY.
