Service bulletin 09-010-13-2774
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
SOME VEHICLES (WITHOUT POWER SEATS) MAY EXHIBIT A DRIVER SEAT THAT GRADUALLY MOVES DOWN BY ITSELF. THIS CON-CERN MAY BE CAUSED WHEN A LOAD, WHICH IS APPLIED TO THE SEAT DURING BRAKING, EXCEEDS A CERTAIN LEVEL THAT COULD IMPACT THE RETAINING MECHANISM OF THE SEAT LIFTER CAUSING THE SEAT TO GRADUALLY MOVE DOWNWARD.

| 09-027-21-3829 | 2021-10-02. Service bulletin. Some vehicles (without power seats) may exhibit a driver seat that gradually moves down by itself. This concern may be caused when a load, which is applied to the seat during braking, exceeds a certain level that could impact the retaining mechanism of the seat lifter causing the seat to gradually move downward. To eliminate this concern, the play in the lift mechanism gears has been reduced. |
| 09-011-17-3339a | 2021-03-08. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit excessive noise when operating either front power seat forward or backward. The noise may be caused by cable vibration, which transmits power from the motor to the gears. The cable vibrates inside the case due to inadequate fabric wrapped around the cable. The fabric thickness has been increased to eliminate the noise. |
| 09-005-18-3414a | 2018-08-20. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit excessive operating noise when sliding the driver and/or passenger power seat(s) back and forth. The noise may be caused by cable vibration, which transmits power from the motor to the gears. The cable vibrates inside the cable casing due to inadequately wrapped fabric around the cable. To eliminate this concern, the power seat cable has been changed to a type that produces less friction and noise. |
| 09-017-18-3437a | 2018-05-14. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit inoperative driver and/or front passenger side seat warmer(s) in any mode (High, Mid and Low). This may be caused by repeated load applied to the seat cushion (1) while the seat isoccupied. A section of the heater mat (2) just above the reinforcement rod (3) in the cushion pad contactsinternal heater mat wire and causes damage (4). |
| 09-017-18-3437 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit inoperative driver and/or front passenger side seat warmer(s) in any mode (High, Mid and Low). This may be caused by repeated load applied to the seat cushion (1) while the seat is occupied. A section of the heater mat (2) just above the reinforcement rod (3) in the cushion pad contacts internal heater mat wire and causes damage (4). |
| 09-005-18-3414 | 2018-03-05. |
| 09-033-17-3374 | 2017-10-21. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may have a condition where the front of the drivers seat cushion trim comes off the seat frame (as shown below). This is found on vehicles equipped with power seats and leather, leatherette or cloth type seat trim. The front seat cushion is attached to the seat frame using a folding collar. The collar may slip out of the seat frame when force is applied to the front of the seat cushion. |
| 09-016-17-3327a | 2017-10-21. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit the driver and/or front passenger side seat warmer(s) malfunction on any mode (High, Mid and Low). This may be caused by repeated load applied to the seat cushion (A) while the seat is occupied. A section of the heater mat (B) just above the reinforcement rod (C) in the cushion pad (A) contacts internal heater mat wire and causes damage (D). |
| 09-024-17-3350 | 2017-10-21.
