"SITUATION: ON VEHICLES FITTED WITH THE 2.0L GTDI ENGINE ONLY, A LOSS OF PERFORMANCE MAY BE EXPERIENCED AND/OR THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) MAY BE ILLUMINATED AND DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P0299-00 MAY BE STORED IN THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM). CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY A BREAKDOWN OF EXHAUST MANIFOLD INTERNALS CAUSING A RESTRICTION AND/OR TURBOCHARGER DAMAGE."
