ISSUE: CONTENT: THIS SSM APPLIES TO ROTARY TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH MODULE \(TCS\) / GEAR SHIFT MODULE \(GSM\) IN THE ABOVE APPLICABLE MODEL YEARS VEHICLES. ROTARY GEAR SHIFT MODULE SELECTOR OPERATION IS UNAVAILABLE FOLLOWING A LOW VOLTAGE EVENT \-ACCOMPANIED BY DTC P085D\-97 IN THE GSM. AS A CONSEQUENCE THE ROTARY KNOB WILL NOT RISE AND SO NORMAL OPERATION IS PREVENTED. PLEASE DO NOT REPLACE THE GSM UNTIL THIS PROCEDURE HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND VERIFIED. GSM’S HAVE BEEN REPLACED PREVIOUSLY WHEN THIS SOFTWARE WILL FIX THE ISSUE
