THIS BULLETIN PROVIDES A REPAIR PROCEDURE TO ADDRESS CUSTOMER CONCERNS OF ABNORMAL SOUNDS WHICH AFTER DIAGNOSIS, HAVE BEEN DETERMINED TO BE COMING FROM THE ENGINE MOUNTS. IN SOME CASES, THE VEHICLE’S USAGE PATTERNS MAY PUT EXCESSIVE FORCE ON THE LOWER ENGINE MOUNT RETAINING NUTS. THE TORQUE SPECIFICATION FOR THESE NUTS HAS BEEN REVISED ACCORDINGLY.
