WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE TWO NEW ENHANCEMENTS TO THE SCHEDULE CONNECT PROGRAM: MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE TEAM APPOINTMENT MANAGEMENT WE ADDED A BUTTON THAT MAKES IT SIMPLE TO EXPAND ALL APPOINTMENTS USING WHICHEVER DATE/SERVICE ADVISOR FILTERS YOU WOULD LIKE. YOU MAY THEN EASILY PRINT THE APPOINTMENTS WITH ALL THE DETAILS. THIS MAY MAKE IT EASIER TO SCAN UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS TO SEE IF RECALL OR OTHER SPECIAL ORDER PARTS MAY BE NEEDED. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS. BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE FROM TIME TO TIME THERE IS A BACKORDER SITUATION ON RECALL PARTS. IN ORDER TO AVOID A CUSTOMER SCHEDULING AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT AND COMING IN TO FIND THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, WE HAVE ADDED THE ABILITY TO DROP A SPECIAL MESSAGE INTO ONLINE APPOINTMENT “RECEIPT” CONFIRMATION MESSAGES THAT REQUESTS THAT THE CUSTOMER CONTACT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT TO ENSURE THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. THIS VARIABLE MESSAGE WILL ONLY SHOW UP FOR CUSTOMERS WITH A VIN THAT IS IDENTIFIED AS BEING PART OF THE RECALL WHERE A BACKORDER PART SITUATION EXISTS.
