WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ENHANCEMENTS TO THE YRC REVERSE LOGISTICS PORTAL USED TO SCHEDULE THE SHIPMENT OF REMANUFACTURED CORES, WARRANTY PARTS, AND RETAILER PROGRAM (PRIME) RETURNS (SOA RETAILERS ONLY). THE CHANGES WILL SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS FOR SHIPMENTS BEING MADE VIA UPS. THE CHANGES ARE EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2015. CURRENTLY, WHEN A SHIPMENT QUALIFIES FOR SHIPPING VIA UPS, THE RETAILER IS DIRECTED TO SHIP VIA UPS USING THE UPS APPLICATION OF THEIR CHOICE AND BILL FREIGHT CHARGES BASED ON THE TYPE OF RETURN. WITH THE CHANGES BEING MADE TO THE PORTAL, CLICKING ON THE SHIP SMALL PARCEL LINK WILL DIRECT THE USER TO A UPS WEB PAGE WHERE THE TRANSACTION CAN BE COMPLETED. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO ACCESS A SEPARATE UPS SHIPPING APPLICATION TO COMPLETE THE SHIPMENT. THIS IS IDENTICAL TO THE PROCESS CURRENTLY IN USE FOR CATALYTIC CONVERTER RETURNS.
