Service bulletin 05-004-16-3188
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 05-003-19-3593 | 2019-05-30. Service bulletin. When pressing the START/STOP button, the ignition may not turn off on some vehicles equipped with a gate-type AT shifter. Although the shift lever is in “P” position and the engine shuts off normally, the ignition may stay on (in accessory mode). Some customers may describe this concern as "the radio stays on" or "the radio is staying on". This concern may be caused by a worn switch unit. To eliminate this concern, the switch unit material has been changed to improve wear resistance. Modified switch units have been established as new service parts. |

| 05-001-19-3538 | 2019-03-11. Service bulletin. When pressing the START/STOP button in very cold weather, the ignition may not turn off on some vehicles equipped with a lock release button (1) on the selector lever knob. Although the selector lever is in the "P" position and the engine shuts off normally, the ignition may stay on (in accessory mode). NOTE: This TSB only applies if the selector lever knob is BHN2-46-030* or BHN4-46-030* with the lock release button. If not, this TSB does not apply. This may be caused by the lock release button in the selector lever knob sticking in the pressed position. An improper production process is causing an internal part to expand with moisture and interfere with other parts. To eliminate this concern, the production process has been modified. |

| 01-006-12-2629A | 2017-04-25. Service bulletin. THESE VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH A PUSH BUTTON START/STOP IGNITION SYSTEM. UNLIKE SOME PREVIOUS MAZDA MODELS (A), THERE IS NO KEY CYLINDER ON THE STEERING COLUMN (B). THEREFORE, THE ENGINE CANNOT BE STARTED WITH THE AUXILIARY KEY IF THE ROOM FUSE IS REMOVED OR IF THE TRANSMITTER BATTERY IS DEAD. |
| 01-014-16-3208 | 2017-02-24. Service bulletin. SOME VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE A LACK OF ENGINE POWER/ROUGH IDLING AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON WITH ONE OR MORE OF THE MISFIRE RELATED DTCS OF P0300:00, P0301:00, P0302:00, P0303:00 AND P0304:00. THIS CONCERN MAY BE CAUSED BY AN INTERNAL FAILURE OF THE IGNITION COIL(S) DUE TO A HIGH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COLD AND WARM AMBIENT TEMPERATURES. THE PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE IGNITION COIL HAS BEEN CHANGED TO ELIMINATE THIS CONCERN. |
