- [SSM 55098](/bulletins/11036338.md), 2026-08-25, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. Some 2013\-2016 Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine and 2015\-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.2L diesel engine may not pass a state smog test due to the exhaust gas system \(EGS\) monitor that will not run after completing the exhaust gas sensor drive cycle located within Section 2 of the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnostics \(PC/ED\) Manual \> Drive Cycles. This may be due to the vehicles diesel oxidation catalyst \(DOC\) age counter being under the 120\-minute age requirement. There is an all\-new "PCM Catalytic Converter Age Evaluation" application within the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). Use this new FDRS application to determine the age \(in minutes\) of the DOC. If the age is less than 120 minutes, perform manual regenerations to increase the catalyst age counter to satisfy the monitor age requirement. If further assistance is needed, contact the technical assistance center \(TAC\). Note: this article only applies to the EGS monitor. Problems with other vehicle monitors not running successfully must be addressed using normal diagnostics located i
- [SSM 54690](/bulletins/11030810.md), 2026-04-06, Service bulletin: ENGINE. This may be due to the vehicles diesel oxidation catalyst \(DOC\) age counter being under the 120\-minute requirement. Engineering is investigating this issue and working on a solution.
- [SSM 52335](/bulletins/10251952.md), 2024-03-20, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. For 2015\-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with turbocharged engines and customer concern of an engine oil leak, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 303\-00 for oil leak inspection and testing methods. Ford has evaluated turbochargers replaced for oil leak symptoms and although oil may collect on the external surface of a turbocharger, it is extremely rare for a turbocharger assembly to be the root cause of the oil leak. Careful inspection of the turbocharger oil feed and drain tubes should be performed along with the recommended WSM procedures as needed. Warranty claims for turbocharger replacement going forward will be assessed.
- [23N04](/bulletins/10251254.md), 2024-03-05, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. Certain 2015\-2019 Model Year Transit Vehicles Equipped With 3.2L Diesel Engine \- Exhaust Gas Temperature \(EGT\) Sensor Replacement
- [23N01](/bulletins/10243426.md), 2023-10-03, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. Certain 2015\-2019 Model Year Transit Vehicles with 3.2L Diesel Engine \- Crankcase Ventilation Hose Assembly Replacement and Powertrain Control Module Software Update
- [SSM 50323](/bulletins/10205446.md), 2021-12-26, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2017\-2022 F\-Super Duty and 2016\-2022 F\-650/F\-750 with 6.7L diesel engines, 2015\-2019 Transit with 3.2L diesel engines and 2018\-2021 F\-150 with 3.0L diesel engines may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P206C in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). Review of repair data supports that P206C is often the result of incorrect diesel exhaust fluid \(DEF\) concentration. Per Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis \(PC/ED\) Pinpoint Test \(PPT\) RJ, a DEF concentration reading below 28% will set P206C and cause vehicle derate. If low concentration is suspected, drain fluid and replace with known good DEF before replacing any parts. Low concentration of DEF is not a warrantable condition.
- [21M03](/bulletins/10204045.md), 2021-12-07, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Certain 2015\-2019 Model Year Transit Vehicles with a 3.2L Diesel Engine EGR Cooler Replacement n some of the affected vehicles, the EGR cooler may crack and allow coolant to enter the combustion chamber when EGR is enabled. A cracked EGR cooler may cause malfunction indicator light \(MIL\) illumination, reduced power, engine overheating, white smoke from the exhaust, and/or coolant level low without an exterior leak.
- [TSB 21\-2408](/bulletins/10203655.md), 2021-12-01, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT. Some 2015\-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.7L engine and block heater may exhibit a repeat coolant leak from a deteriorated O\-ring and/or intake manifold thermostat housing. This may be due to the block heater in the thermostat housing. To correct the condition, install a block heater service kit in the engine block.
- [TSB 21\-2332](/bulletins/10201639.md), 2021-09-30, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2017\-2020 Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine built on or after 13\-May\-2017, 2015\-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.2L engine and 2018\-2020 F\-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.0L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P2002 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to a crack in the diesel particulate filter \(DPF\) substrate. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the DPF and then reprogram the PCM.
- [21N06](/bulletins/10201092.md), 2021-09-05, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This program extends the warranty coverage of the catalytic converter portion of the selective catalyst reduction \(SCR\) system for twelve months of service, beginning on the date the powertrain control module \(PCM\) is reprogrammed under Emissions Recall 21E01. This program only applies if an SCR \(converter\) fault is detected and it is related to a diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P20EE identified after 21E01 has been performed. This is a one\-time repair.
