Service bulletin SA295
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A LACK OF POWER AND/OR MISFIRES DURING PDI. THIS MAY BE DUE TO A LOW FUEL LEVEL IN THE FUEL TANK. VERIFY THERE IS AT LEAST A ¼ TANK OF FUEL IN THE TANK. IF NOT, FILL TO ¼ TANK, START THE ENGINE AND DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR A MINIMUM OF 1 MILE TO PURGE ANY AIR REMAINING IN THE FUEL SYSTEM, THEN RE-TEST. NOTE: FILL THE FUEL TANK WITH ADEQUATE FUEL (¼ TANK OR MORE) PRIOR TO DRIVING THE VEHICLE TO EXIT “DELIVERY MODE”. CONTINUING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITH VERY LOW FUEL LEVELS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FUEL PUMP.IF THE CONCERN IS RESOLVED BY ADDING FUEL, DO NOT CONTACT THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE HOTLINE OR CREATE A PQM ALERT. IF THE CONCERN IS NOT RESOLVED BY ADDING FUEL, CONTACT THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE HOTLINE.

| 01-002/22 | 2022-04-05. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a fuel odor at the left / rear area of the vehicle while the engine is idling that usually occurs when the fuel tank is warmed up in hot weather and/or after long distance driving. Depending on wind direction and/or parking environment, the odor may be more noticeable. The odor may be caused by evaporative gas from the gas outlet vent. |

| MT-002-21a | 2021-10-31. Service bulletin. Ethanol is becoming a common additive in gasoline. Gasoline containing ethanol is likely available at your local gasoline station. Typical blends of ethanol include E10 and E85. E10: A blend of 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline. E85: A blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline All Mazda vehicles can run on gasoline containing up to 10% ethanol (E10) but only some 1999-2001 B3000 trucks can run on gasoline with more than 10% ethanol blended. E10 compatible vehicles: All Mazda vehicles. E85 compatible vehicles: 1999-2001 B3000 Mazda trucks with the 8th VIN digit is V. |
| DRW08 | 2021-01-25. Service bulletin. Lift gate hinge nut concern - On effected vehicles, the tightening torque of lift gate hinge nuts at cabin side does not meet the specified value. Due to this, it may cause interference/noise with the body when closing/opening the lift gate, or water leakage may occur inside cabin. Originally the coincerned nuts are tightened to the specified torque at the production line. However, the thickness of the packing between the lift gate hinge and body shrinks slightly by heat during paint baking process, resulting in a lowered tightening torque. |
| 00-003-19-3583 | 2019-03-21. Service bulletin. In support of the new MRT distribution, Mazda will ship to dealers a new Dual Purpose Diagnostic Leak Detector beginning March, 2019. Training videos will be posted to MGSS shortly and Workshop Manual procedures will be revised gradually. |
| 01-003-18-3421 | 2018-05-07. Service bulletin. Some customers may experience a lack of power with no warning lights illuminated and no related DTCs stored. This concern most likely occurs when the fuel temperature is high and during situations where high power is required. This concern may be caused when the learning value for the low pressure fuel pump exceeds a certain level and the PCM limits engine power to avoid a lack of fuel injection. Even if the low pressure fuel pump has a problem, no DTCs are stored. To eliminate this concern, the PCM control logic has been modified not to limit engine power. After this modification, DTCs P0192:00 or P0087:00 are stored when the fuel injection amount is insufficient. P0192:00 - High fuel pressure sensor circuit low input P0087:00 - High fuel pressure sensor circuit range/performance problem. |
