TSB: INTERNET BROWSER GUIDELINES & RECOMMENDATIONS - KIA UNIVERSITY (KU) IS CONTINUING TO LEVERAGE ADVANCED WEB AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES TO DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS TO THE SALES AND SERVICE STAFF OF OUR DEALERSHIPS. KU IS CURRENTLY TRANSITIONING TOWARD MAKING WEB-BASED TRAINING COURSES THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH MOBILE DEVICES, SUCH AS TABLETS. TO MEET THIS OBJECTIVE, KU WILL BE DEVELOPING NEW WEB-BASED TRAINING COURSES USING MORE ADVANCED FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITY NOT AVAILABLE ON SOME OLDER COMPUTER OPERATING SYSTEMS AND WEB BROWSERS. COMPUTERS RUNNING WINDOWS XP OPERATING SYSTEM WITH INTERNET EXPLORER 8 (IE 8) AND BELOW WILL NOT SUPPORT SOME OF THESE FEATURES. IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PLANNED NEW TRAINING COURSES, KU RECOMMENDS INSTALLING GOOGLE CHROME AS A SECOND BROWSER ON THOSE COMPUTERS.
