TSB: NAVIGATION MAP UPGRADE – CUSTOMER RETAIL - THIS BULLETIN PROVIDES INFORMATION FOR CERTAIN KIA MODELS EQUIPPED WITH A FACTORY KIA NAVIGATION SYSTEM. KIA OWNERS HAVE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE A MAP UPGRADE DIRECTLY FROM MNSOFT (A KIA APPROVED SUPPLIER) AND CAN PERFORM THE UPGRADE THEMSELVES OR HAVE THE DEALER PERFORM THE UPGRADE IN WHICH CASE ADDITIONAL LABOR CHARGES WILL APPLY. NOTICE: OTHER SERVICES CAN BE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE WHILE THE MAP SYSTEM UPDATE IS IN PROGRESS; SUGGESTED LABOR TIME IS 0.3 HOURS. FOR CUSTOMERS WANTING TO PERFORM THEIR OWN UPGRADE, USB STICKS OR SD CARDS (DEPENDING ON YEAR/MODEL) ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH WWW.KDEALER.COM, FOR DEALERS AND WWW.MAPNSOFT.COM, FOR CUSTOMERS.
