DEALER PRINCIPAL MEMO (SC127) - KIA MOTORS AMERICA, INC. WILL BE CONDUCTING A VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN TO INSTALL A BRACKET IN CERTAIN 2015 AND 2016 MY SEDONA L, LX, AND EX VEHICLES, MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 17, 2014 THROUGH DECEMBER 7, 2015. IN SOME 2015 AND 2016 MY SEDONA L, LX, AND EX VEHICLES, THE INSULATION FOR THE POWER STEERING HOSE MAY BECOME WORN AS A RESULT OF VIBRATION CONTACT WITH THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. KIA WILL INSTALL A BRACKET TO ENSURE AN APPROPRIATE CLEARANCE IS MAINTAINED BETWEEN THE POWER STEERING HOSE AND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. KIA WILL ALSO INSPECT THE POWER STEERING HOSE, AND IF NECESSARY, EITHER ATTACH ADDITIONAL INSULATION TO THE HOSE OR REPLACE THE HOSE.
