THIS TEMPORARY REPAIR PRACTICE ADDRESSES FIBER MIGRATION ON DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTERS (DPF) ON CERTAIN ENGINES. LOOSE INSULATION FIBERS HAVE BEEN FOUND TO COVER THE FACE OF THE DPF RESULTING IN FAULT CODE 3322. REPLACEMENT OF THE DIESEL OXIDATION CATALYIST (DOC) IS REQUIRED ALONG WITH CLEANING OF THE DPF AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
