SERVICE ACTION: SUNVISOR INSPECTION/REPLACEMENT \(SA197\) \- THIS BULLETIN PROVIDES THE PROCEDURE TO MODIFY OR, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE SUN VISORS ON SOME 2016MY SORENTO \(UMA\) VEHICLES, PRODUCED FROM JOB \#1 THROUGH MARCH 12, 2015 WHICH MAY EXPERIENCE AN INOPERATIVE, OR CONSTANTLY ON VANITY LAMP. THIS CONCERN MAY BE CAUSED BY A SHORT TO GROUND CONDITION AT THE SUN VISOR PIVOT. FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE IN THIS BULLETIN TO APPLY A PREVENTIVE MODIFICATION TO THE HARNESS, OR TO REPLACE THE AFFECTED SUN VISOR. TO PREVENT AND/OR CORRECT THIS CONDITION, KIA IS REQUESTING THE COMPLETION OF THIS SERVICE ACTION ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES, INCLUDING DEALER STOCK, PRIOR TO DELIVERY. BEFORE CONDUCTING THE PROCEDURE, VERIFY THE VEHICLE IS INCLUDED IN THE LIST OF AFFECTED VINS.
