THIS TEMPORARY REPAIR PRACTIVE IS BEING ISSUED TO AUTHORIZE THE REPLACEMENT OF THE LUBRICATING OIL FILTER BYPASS VALVE ON CERTAIN ISX12 AND ISX15 ENGINES ANYTIME THE UNIT IS IN FOR MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS, WITH CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS ON REIMBURSEMENT. THIS IS A RE-ISSUE OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED COMMUNICATION. THE NEW BYPASS VALVE HAS MORE EFFECTIVE SEALING CAPABILITY AND PROVIDES BETTER PROTECTION TO FULE PUMP LUBRICATED COMPONENTS. THIS IS A REISSUE OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED COMMUNICATION.
