THIS IN-SHOP CAMPAIGN PROVIDES AUTHORIZATION FOR CERTIFIED REPAIR LOCATIONS TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE COOLANT LEVEL SENSORS ON CERTAIN ISL9 CM2350 ENGINES IN TRANSIT BUS APPLICATIONS WHILE THE UNIT IS IN FOR ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR. CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS ON REIMBURSEMENT APPLY. SENSOR PART NUMBER 2872933 MAY EXPERIENCE PIN CORROSION AS THE RESULT OF INADEQUATE SEALING PERFORMANCE OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. THIS ACTION REPLACES THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR BY SOLDER SPLICING A SHORT JUMPER HARNESS CONTAINING A DEUTSCH CONNECTOR TO PROVIDE IMPROVED PROTECTION AGAINST MOISTURE INTRUSION. THIS IS A REVISION TO A PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED COMMUNICATION.
