THIS TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN RAISES FIELD AWARENESS AND DESCRIBES CORRECTIVE ACTION FOR PETERBILT 320, 386, 587 AND MEDIUM DUTY CHASSIS BATTERY BOX HARNESS ISSSUES. DAMAGE TO COMPONENTS WITHIN THE BATTERY BOX HAS RESULTED IN HEATED DEF LINE FAULT CODES 3258, 3261 AND/OR 3425 AND/OR DATALINK COMMUNICATION FAULT CODES 2771, 3232 AND/OR 3597. IN SOME CASES, FAULT CODES 3232 AND 2771 HAVE ALSO RESULTED.
