THIS TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN DESCRIBES THE VERIFICATION AND RESOLUTION OF WIRE HARNESS DAMAGE ON SOME ENGINES WITH WITH OPTION TK9064 DUE TO PINCHING. SOME ENGINES BUILT WITH THIS SPECIFIC OPTION MAY HAVE THE HARNESS PINCHED BETWEEN THE ALTERNATOR BRACKET AND THE TORQUE CONVERTER HOSE. THE SYMPTOMS CAUSED BY THE PINCHED HARNESS INCLUDE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, STOP ENGINE LIGHT, AND VARIOUS FAULT CODES. SOME OF THE INCLUDED FAULT CODES ARE 187, 222, 2636, 3232, 352, 3597, AND 687.
