# Service bulletin ATS160709

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

"TECHLINE SUMMARY ARTICLE \- WE’RE GETTING REPORTS OF THE A/C NOT BLOWING COLD AIR. FROM THEIR BASIC CHECKS, SERVICE TECHS ARE NOTICING THERE’S REFRIGERANT OIL ON THE RADIATOR FAN SHROUD AND SURROUNDING AREAS, INDICATING A LEAK. OUR INVESTIGATION SHOWS THAT THE LOW PRESSURE SUCTION HOSE MAY BE RUBBING AGAINST THE BRACKET FOR THE EXPANSION TANK OUTLET PIPE. THIS RUBBING COMES FROM A VARIATION IN THE HOSE PROFILE. IF THE RUBBING IS SEVERE ENOUGH, IT COULD LEAD TO LEAKS."
