OVER TIME AND WITH USE, THE BENT CABLE MAY FATIGUE AND BREAK. IF THE CABLE BREAKS, THE DRIVER MAY BE UNABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION OUT OF PARK OR FROM ONE GEAR TO ANOTHER.
