Service bulletin 06 03-16

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

0603-16 SYMPTOM DIAGNOSTICS - OIL LEAKS Oil can leak from the AMT Shift Controller vent(s). See Figure below. This indicates a vehicle air system contamination issue. Most likely the case is an air compressor failure of some type or an additive was introduced into the air system. When this occurs, the vehicle air system must be inspected and repaired for oil contamination. The AMT Shift Controller must be replaced after repairs are made.
